It’s beginning to look and feel like fall, with cooler temperatures and leaves changing colors. At this time of the year, we are beginning to plan for our year-end festivities. We have lots of upcoming activities, so make sure you have all of these dates on your calendars!
Important Preschool Dates to Remember
- Butter Braids - Order forms and checks are due on Tuesday, October 28th for those in our 2-day program and on Wednesday, October 29th for those in our 3-day program. Delivery will take place on Tuesday, November 18th . 
- Halloween Plans - Trick-or-Treating for our 3-day classes will take place on Thursday, October 30th . Additionally, Halloween parties will take place that day. Please contact your child’s teacher if you have questions about specific class plans. 
- Thanksgiving Feast – Those in our 3-day program will enjoy our Thanksgiving Feast onWednesday, November 19 th . Please note…this is an early release day for Williamson County Schools. Families are invited to start arriving at noon and lunch will begin at 12:15 p.m. This should allow time to enjoy a meal here at Bethlehem with family and friends, and make it to your child’s elementary school for early dismissal. This is an event for the entire family! Information about plans for this year will be sent to parents with children in these classes soon. 
- Thanksgiving Break - Bethlehem Preschool will be closed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, November 25th , 26th , and 27th , for Thanksgiving Break. 
- Christmas Parties – Class parties will take place on Tuesday, December 9th . Each teacher determines the timing and particulars of the party in her room. More information about party plans in each class will be provided closer to the date of the event. 
- Polar Express and Pajama Day – On Wednesday, December 10th , those in our 3-day program will wear their pajamas to school and watch a portion of The Polar Express as part of their school day. More information will be provided closer to the date of this event. 
- Christmas Program – This special occasion will take place on Thursday, December 11th at 11.00 a.m. in the church sanctuary. More information will be included in our December newsletter as well as in teacher emails. At the end of the Christmas Program, the preschool will be closed for Christmas break. 
Bethlehem United Methodist Church Activities
Just like the preschool, the church also has a variety of activities going on during the months of November and December and you are all invited to attend!
- Operation Christmas Child – This shoebox packing event will take place on Sunday, November 15th at 4:30 p.m. in the Old Sanctuary. 
- Breakfast with St. Nick – On Saturday, December 6th at 9:00 a.m. experience crafts, games and a light breakfast with St. Nick. This is always such a fun holiday event for the whole family. 
- Family Friendly Christmas Eve Service – This special family event takes place on Wednesday, December 24th at 4:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary. All children in attendance have a role in the re-telling of the Christmas story. 
We hope to see you at many of these events. It’s going to be a very busy few months!
